Almost there!!

just me and little buddy.. i really love this one of us together...

Well its getting so close, i can feeling it coming any day now. Just a few days left to go!!! Well really my ultrasound due date is on Friday, but my doctors due date is tuesday, but my Doc said she'll be shocked if i make it that long. So we will see, i had Elias on my ultrasound due date... but really i guess i wont be considered overdue until tuesday. 

I am so excited to find out the sex of this baby, more excited than i was with Elias. I am excited to finally hold this little person that has been inside me for so long.

It was so fun and yet scary to see Karen in the hospital today, exciting to see such a small (6lbs) sweet baby boy and Karen looked so good too, but scary to know i will be there any day now. It was refreshing to know that this time around she had a much better experience and that is what i am praying for too.

Bowling Night!

Last weekend we went out with the Jahns and took Elias and Greta for their first time bowling..after seeing Laura's post with Jost bowling i thought Elias would be in heaven. 

It was a really fun night, I was even the high scorer despite not even being able to bend over..  and its a good thing no one was bowling on the right lane beside us because we could not convince elias to wait his turn. He was in Heaven with all those balls and kept throwing the balls down the empty lane having the time of his life, he never stopped the whole night. We will definetly have to go bowling again!

Early Valentine's Day...

So i love getting flowers.. it doesnt happen that often.. mostly jeremy says he has to always take the bus so its hard to get me flowers.. but mostly i think its the last thing on his mind when he is at school all week and frankly we just cant afford them..and that's okay.

so i was so pleasently surprised when on Friday he came home with these. Aren't they pretty! 

My fave is yellow roses, but they didnt have any so this was a welcomed change. 

He said he got them early for a nice surprise and so i could enjoy them all week up to V-day (and there ALOT cheaper too).. it has been really great enjoying them so far.

So Thanks Babe.. That was so thoughtful, i love them and i LOVE getting flowers.. if i was Oprah or someone with mega money i would always have fresh flowers in my home, there is just something about them that really makes me so happy.. i am constantly smiling and smelling them.

I am also so excited for Friday night too. We are finally going on a date.. it is soooo needed i honestly cant remember the last time just me and Jer did something, he has been soo busy with school and also the baby is coming so quick that we really need this. 

So i am sure it will be a great night, we have a gift card to the Keg that i got last summer from a wedding that we really need to use. So a nice dinner and maybe a movie.. i can hardly wait! 

Cookie time!

Well as my husband can detest to i am not a big baker.. but i do try to make choc. banana muffins or cookies once in a while. So i have been meaning to try out Erin's chocolate chip oatmeal cookie recipe again, since the first time i failed, and last week we did and it worked out great- thanks erin! 

Elias was such a good helper pouring in everything and he had so much fun helping me but more fun eating the dough and smarties. We ended up with sooo many yummy cookies that i gave quite a bit away and now we are getting down to just one bag left from the freezer.

I'm being Brave!

Well we attempted some maternity pictures of Baby #2...I am being very brave in showing this picture, but i wanted something a bit more intimate and so i decided to show off my belly this time. I told jeremy what i wanted, put on the right settings and we both tried very hard to get elias to sit for more than 5 shots. I had all these ideas of shots i wanted to try with elias and my pregnant belly, but it never works out the way you hope...  Anyways i did really like this one... even though i wish i would have put my hair half up so you could see my face a bit more.. but still it shows the more intimate look i was going for with my son.

7.5 months pregnant

Its really sooo soon, this baby is due in a month now, even though my baby ticker on the side says 37 days its really 27, i put in the wrong date and now i dont know how to change it..

Oh well its really coming and i have yet to do any sort of nesting for the baby.. i still have everything packed away and havent bought much of anything yet either.. soon though probably by next week i will start getting ready so hopefully the babe wont come extra early..

I am really looking forward to having a newborn, even though i'm kinda freaked right out.. and had a bit of a nervous breakdown thinking about the delivery the other day.. but i am ready to add to our family. Elias doesnt really understand, but at the same time he does. 

The other day i said "where's the baby"? and he pulled up my shirt and then said "No baby" and pulled it back down.. it was pretty funny. But mostly he says the baby is going to be "a sister" and we will call it "girly". Just today i was asking him what boy names he liked and as i was listing the few we like he said, "No, girly".. So as much as i want a girl too, i think we'll both be okay with another boy. 

I was also thinking where are we going to put all the baby stuff now, we barely have any room and feel claustraphobic** enough with only 2 bedrooms and no yard. But we will make due, i guess. People do it all the time, but yet i am NOT looking forward to it, and I am afraid i might go a little crazy and will have to leave the house everyday to get Elias out so he can run around. 

But its all good and i am excited about this little new addition that will add to our family, i'm especially exciting about just knowing what sex the baby is! 

I'm back...

Well what a nice break is all i can say.. 

Lots of family time, playing in the snow, games nights, traveling and well just doing nothing!

Christmas was really nice, were able to go to my parents new cabin at echo lake in Montana over christmas for about 5 days (thats where all the pics are from). There was so much snow there and it was so beautiful, i cant believe i didnt take any pics of the outdoors and the cabin, i also didnt get any pics of the sweet sledding track that Jeremy and my brothers made, going from the top of the cabin down to the lake. The kids just had a ball sledding and the guys had fun playing hockey on the lake too. I guess i was too busy filming with my sweet new video camera, so i didnt get too many pictures. That was our christmas gift this year to each other and I am so happy to have it!

After boxing day we headed to Raymond with Jeremy's family for almost a week.. it was fun for elias to play with his cousins and we had alot of late nights playing games and watching movies. Jeremy's whole family lives in Raymond so there is alway someone fun to hang out with. 

But even though Christmas was really fun, i am so glad to be home and to kind of get back to a schedule again.  

These days i am so tired being so huge and pregnant, less than 2 months to go and that REALLY freaks me out. I dont think i will be ready when the time comes, but well the time will come sooner or later so i better get used to it.  Right!
